Job Summary
Provide mechanical engineering support for the manufacture and delivery of mining equipment by reviewing designs, drawings, and calculations to ensure safe, on-time delivery within budget. Support product standardization, value engineering, and continuous improvement while assisting with design enhancements and resolving manufacturing issues with production teams. Manage engineering changes, participate in root cause investigations and non-conformance reporting, and provide technical support to customers and field service teams, including occasional site visits. Maintain accurate technical documentation and uphold safety, quality, and environmental standards. Join a global supplier delivering zero-emissions mining solutions by 2030.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Early career engineering experience in manufacturing, mining, heavy industry, or capital equipment
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering calculations
- Experience reviewing technical drawings and engineering documentation
- A practical, hands-on approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across engineering, production, quality, and customer support teams
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and delivering quality outcomes
- Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites and regional offices
