Product Engineer
$90,000–$130,000 year
On-siteLondon, England, United Kingdom
Job Summary
Architect cutting-edge AI agents using multimodal models and develop internal eval benchmarks to measure agent performance. Build secure cloud infrastructure, reverse engineer device communication protocols, and scale the physical device farm through automation. Stay current with industry research to incorporate new technologies into the stack. Own projects end-to-end across the full software stack, including frontend, backend, and infrastructure. Work directly with customers on go-to-market initiatives and help craft the product roadmap. Operate in a small team environment in London, typically four days a week.
Required Qualifications
- An engineer who not only writes clean and reliable code, but has great product instincts and loves jumping on calls and threads with customers
- A true problem solver and builder, where the questions can't simply be thrown into Claude, instead they involve getting around a whiteboard and figuring things out from first principles
- Someone who thrives on the pace and ambiguity of working in a startup environment
- Experienced taking ML concepts from 'works on my laptop' to real production systems
- You know about the unglamorous parts, like data pipelines, evals and maybe even statistics
- Calm when things move quickly and priorities shift
- You can decide what matters most, make progress without being blocked, and keep shipping while the product takes shape
- Proficient with AI-assisted coding tools, to move faster and rapidly prototype, while still owning the code that's committed
- You care about quality, and you want to spend more time on the interesting problems
- Someone who enjoys working in-person
- We're based in Old Street and typically in 4 days a week
