Product Engineer

Job Summary
Lead the development of product features from concept through production deployment, building and enhancing full-stack applications that support AI-powered commerce experiences. Develop and integrate APIs, services, and front-end components connecting AI agents with merchant ecosystems while partnering with Product, Design, Data, and Engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Identify technical risks, remove delivery blockers, and continuously improve application performance, reliability, and maintainability. Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Stay up to date with emerging technologies in AI, agentic commerce, and modern software engineering.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience building and shipping full-stack products in production environments
- Proficiency with modern front-end frameworks (React or similar) and back-end technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience designing scalable, maintainable software architectures
- Comfortable collaborating across Engineering, Product, Design and Business teams
- Excellent communication skills

- Passion for AI, commerce and building products that solve real-world customer problems
- Curious, collaborative and eager to learn in a fast-moving environment
- Experience integrating AI agents, MCP servers or agent platforms
- Familiarity with open commerce protocols such as MCP, ACP or UCP
- Experience with cloud platforms and containerized deployments
- Experience working in e-commerce, retail technology or AI-powered search
- Knowledge of modern DevOps and CI/CD practices
