Job Summary
Product Engineer role focusing on shaping the core product experience of Resend. You will work across frontend and backend, with responsibilities including turning complex concepts into clear user experiences, owning features end-to-end from concept through launch, collaborating with design, engineering, and customer success, and building debugging/observability experiences for emails, webhooks, domains, and API requests. The role emphasizes TypeScript, React, Next.js, and modern web technologies, with an emphasis on UX, performance, accessibility, reliability, and product quality. The team is fully remote within Americas/European timezones, with travel for team offsites, conferences, meetups, and more.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience building and shipping high-quality web products
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Strong experience with TypeScript, React, and modern frontend development
- Comfortable working across the stack, including APIs, databases, server-side logic, and product infrastructure
- Care deeply about UX, interaction details, and product polish
- Ability to turn ambiguous customer problems into clear, shippable solutions
- Strong product judgment
- Love helping developers and care about developer experience
- Comfortable working in open-ended problems and situations
- Default to action mindset
- Hands-on and enjoy solving problems directly
- Low ego and enjoy collaborating with design, engineering, and customer success
