Job Summary
Lead or contribute to the development of new concrete products by creating and reviewing designs that meet industry standards and customer specifications. Conduct testing and analysis of concrete mixes to assess performance and durability, while collaborating with quality control teams to maintain high standards. Work with raw material suppliers to evaluate materials and assist in cost analysis to optimize product performance and production efficiency. Review, approve, and seal engineering drawings and calculations in accordance with state engineering licensure requirements. Ensure all concrete products comply with relevant codes and regulations, including ACI, PCI, and ASTM standards. Maintain accurate documentation of specifications and testing results while communicating technical information to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Minimum 2 years of engineering experience in the construction, structural, or precast concrete industry
- Proficient in reviewing, interpreting, and validating engineering, design, and production-related drawings, specifications, and calculations
- Strong knowledge of building construction principles, structural design concepts, precast and prefabricated building systems, construction details, and applicable building codes, engineering standards, regulations, and quality requirements
- Ability to apply sound engineering judgment to support product design, manufacturing processes, and technical problem-solving
- Ability and willingness to review, approve, and seal engineering drawings and calculations in accordance with applicable state engineering licensurerequirements
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience with PPVC (Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction) projects
