Job Summary
Responsible for supporting the full lifecycle of highly configurable industrial mixing products, including the development of new products, redesign and optimization of existing products, as well as discontinuation of legacy products. This role focuses on improving product performance, reliability and manufacturability through engineering analysis, design updates, and testing. Evaluates technical and economic feasibility of engineering solutions and implementing corrective actions based on root cause analysis. Highly collaborative with cross-functional teams across the globe to maintain product standards, enhance quality, and ensure continued operational success across a large product portfolio. Responsibilities include performing engineering calculations for gearboxes and rotating equipment, creating and maintaining 3D models and manufacturing drawings, developing BOMs in ERP, coordinating project plans, conducting and analyzing test data, developing product documentation, executing ECRs/ECOs, supporting internal functions and technical sales, participating in NPD activities, contributing to VAVE initiatives, maintaining ISO 9001 quality compliance, and ensuring compliance with OSHA/ASME/CE/ATEX/REACH regulations. The role requires proficiency in CAD, GD&T, ERP systems, and strong communication skills, with a hybrid work arrangement (3 days at facility, 2 days at home). Anticipated salary range: $67,500 - $93,960 per year.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent
- 1 – 3 years of experience in mechanical design or product development
- 2D and 3D CAD skills required; AutoCAD and Inventor preferred
- Proficient in an ERP systems; SAP preferred
- Extensive experience in reading and creating manufacturing drawings including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability/experience in reading, analyzing, and interpreting safety rules, product instruction manuals, and laboratory test programs
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
