Product Engineer

Job Summary
Designs and develops exterior and mirror-system components from concept through serial production, evaluating tolerances with GD&T, and releasing designs to assembly and sub-assembly to meet customer specifications and PDP milestones. Collaborates with Magna EU/UK/NA design centers and suppliers to ensure DFM/DFA feasibility, supports design changes and on-site adjustments, leads root cause analysis and corrective actions, and participates in product application meetings. Works with CAD tools (CATIA/NX) and core development tools (DFMEA, P-Diagram, Boundary Diagram, APQP) to ensure quality, feasibility, and alignment with OEM requirements; communicates effectively in English with global teams and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and engineering drawings
- Experience with CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, NX)
- Experience with automotive core tools such as DFMEA, P-Diagram, Boundary Diagram, and APQP
- Knowledge of BOM management and ECN/engineering change management
- Strong communication and coordination skills with OEMs, suppliers, and cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in English for global collaboration
