Product Engineer

Serve as the central technical resource between design engineering, manufacturing, and field teams to optimize serviceability, reduce cost-of-service, and improve product revenue performance throughout the Product Life Cycle. Drive continuous improvement of system hardware, diagnostics, software, and technical documentation while acting as a two-way conduit for information between design teams and support personnel. Execute seven-step troubleshooting, analyze beta and sustaining escalation data to provide detailed action plans, and leverage organizational knowledge through training, coaching, and updating knowledge capture tools. Define preventative maintenance schedules, optimize spare parts stocking strategies, and prepare products for obsolescence by transferring documentation and closing known issues. Collaborate with marketing to develop service offerings and forecast cost-of-service models, ensuring system performance meets specifications across all product stages.
