Job Summary
Product Engineer II at ASML Berlin is responsible for developing manufacturing solutions across process chains in high-volume precision production of optical components, assemblies, and systems. The role focuses on implementing solutions aligned with specifications and KPIs, analyzing process chains to develop manufacturing concepts, conducting risk analyses, ensuring delivery performance using production data, developing rework and corrective actions, evaluating deviations, contributing to NPI projects with emphasis on product history and risk analysis, and providing functional leadership to small teams. Requires technical degree with Six Sigma/CI knowledge, several years in a technical manufacturing environment, deep understanding of process chains, strong data analysis capabilities, and fluent German and English.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in engineering, natural sciences, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable role within a technical manufacturing environment
- In-depth knowledge of process chain sections or full process chains and their key interdependencies
- Strong understanding of core processes, including tolerances and required technologies within process chain sections
- Experience in product development lifecycle; ideally participation in multiple NPI projects
- Extensive experience in data analysis; knowledge in data engineering is a plus
- Fluent in German and English
