Job Summary
Product Engineer II - P&R at Cadence responsible for foundry enablement and chip-level physical implementation, including validation of the foundry reference flow and in-design flow correlation, as well as routing enablement (P&R techfiles) and their validation. The role involves addressing physical-implementation- and P&R techfile-related issues between customers and corporate R&D, delivering Cadence physical implementation tool solutions on-site and off-site, and coordinating with headquarter R&D and other Product Engineers across sites. Candidate should have strong experience in physical implementation (P&R), P&R techfile creation/validation, and familiarity with Innovus or ICC, with English communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Around 1+ year professional experience (Master's degree) or 3+ year (Bachelor's degree)
- Experience in physical implementation (P&R) domain and P&R techfile creation & validation
- In-depth usage experience on dominant P&R tool (Innovus or ICC)
- Good hands-on physical implementation knowledge on advanced technology nodes beyond 28nm
- Good communication skills internally with team members and externally with customers
- English speaking/writing proficiency
