Job Summary
Product Engineer I sought to provide production support engineering for testing methods, procedures, and problems, along with device specification and yield issues. Responsibilities include minor redesign of devices and masks; analysis of customer returns; supplier-related engineering changes; and optimization of device production relative to cost. Will assume responsibility for device manufacturing operations other than wafer fabrication and may assist customers with device usage problems or testing of complex devices. Requires 12-hour night shifts and a flexible schedule to meet business needs; candidate will support production with a focus on quality and efficiency in a manufacturing environment within the Medical Devices/Pharmaceutical sector.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred Mechanical or Electrical)
- two (2) years of relevant experience within the Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical industry
- Bilingual (Spanish & English)
- Experience in equipment troubleshooting and PLC knowledge
- Systems knowledge like Factory Works, Agile, and/or SAP
- Technical Documentation
