Job Summary
Product Engineer to drive lean manufacturing improvements in repair and production operations, serving as the technical interface for cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. Lead evaluations and disposition decisions on nonconforming materials, processes, and products; apply lean principles to identify root causes, eliminate waste, and improve process stability and flow; drive productivity and cost-out initiatives by reducing cycle time, rework, and scrap; develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and technical documentation; participate in process validation and verification to meet regulatory requirements; monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to sustain improvements; support root cause analysis and corrective action activities to improve product reliability; strong foundation in engineering, manufacturing or repair experience, and willingness to apply lean methodologies across product repair and manufacturing activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in operations, quality, process engineering, or product engineering in a related industry
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to analyze technical issues and support decision-making in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in heavy-duty gas turbine component repairs is highly advantageous
