Job Summary

Product Engineer at our Salt Lake City site focusing on surgical imaging technologies. Responsibilities include diagnosing and investigating field issues from customer complaints, performing root cause analysis to resolve product safety, quality, and performance issues in clinical environments, tracking progress with engineers and stakeholders, reviewing closure criteria for complaints, and driving data-driven design and process improvements. The role emphasizes data analysis, familiarization with Excel/Word and AI tools, adherence to quality and regulatory requirements, and participation in continuous improvement activities. Qualifications include a BS in Engineering or equivalent experience, ability to lead and collaborate in cross-functional teams, strong analytical and communication skills, and knowledge of IEC60601-1 and ISO 13485 or 21 CFR regulations. The position requires full-time work in Salt Lake City, Utah, and relocation assistance is provided. The employer does not sponsor employment visas for this role. Required Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering (any discipline) or equivalent experience (defined as a High School Diploma/GED and 4 years’ experience in medical device industry)
  • Ability to investigate, analyze and resolve issues
  • Proven ability to lead, influence, and partner effectively in a global, cross-functional environment
  • Proven analytical, interpersonal, communication, organization, planning and leadership skills
  • Process focus and continuous improvement orientation
  • Willing to work in Salt Lake City, Utah facility full-time
  • Understanding of IEC60601-1 and ISO 13485 or 21 CFR related regulations
  • Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, multi-tasking
  • Excellent teamwork, coordination and communication skills
  • Global project experience
  • Circuit design and simulation tool experience
