Job Summary
Design and develop reusable mechanical and mechatronic modules for advanced sorting systems, creating 3D models, assemblies, and production drawings in Inventor. Manage bill of materials and product data within ERP Ridder IQ and Vault, while performing strength calculations, design reviews, and FMEA analyses. Select components and validate designs against production requirements, collaborating closely with manufacturing, assembly, and supply chain teams to ensure buildability. Contribute to portfolio standardization and drive improvements in quality, cost, and reliability from concept through realization. Work within a nine-person Product Engineering team focused on short decision cycles and direct impact on future sorting technologies.
Required Qualifications
- MBO+/HBO werk- en denkniveau in Werktuigbouwkunde, Mechatronica of vergelijkbaar
- 2–5 jaar ervaring in een mechatronische ontwerpomgeving (bij voorkeur machinebouw)
- Ervaring met 3D CAD software (bij voorkeur Inventor)
- Kennis van mechatronische systemen, aandrijftechniek en sensortechniek
- Basiskennis van elektrotechniek of bereidheid dit te ontwikkelen
- Ervaring met het opstellen van BOM's en technische documentatie
- Begrip van maakbaarheid, assemblage en productietechnieken
- Analytisch sterk en probleemoplossend vermogen
- Zelfstandig, proactief en verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel
- Goede communicatieve vaardigheden en teamgericht
Desired Qualifications
- Ervaring in een mechatronische ontwerpomgeving (bij voorkeur machinebouw)
