Job Summary
Own the full product lifecycle for internal Finance and Supply Chain applications, from problem discovery through implementation, rollout, and production support. Build React and TypeScript interfaces backed by Python services, while designing integrations with Oracle Fusion, Zip, and order management systems. Construct durable workflows using Temporal to handle retries, idempotency, and audit logs for credit checks and invoice triaging. Apply AI models and agents to business workflows with clear validation and human review safeguards. Work directly with Finance and Supply Chain partners to translate ambiguous requirements into dependable products. Ensure production quality through testing, incident response, and security reviews, while identifying reusable patterns to accelerate future development.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, excluding internships, with a track record of shipping production software
- Experience building products or internal tools from idea to production, including making tradeoffs with incomplete or changing requirements
- Strong Python experience and comfort building backend services and APIs
- Proficiency with React, TypeScript, and modern web development, or a strong willingness to work across the stack
- Experience with relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL and sound data modeling judgment
- Experience designing integrations, distributed systems, asynchronous workflows, or order, fulfillment, and supply chain APIs that must handle failures and retries safely
- Care deeply about product quality, reliability, security, performance, and the experience of the people who use the software
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineers, application owners, data engineers, and business partners
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with FastAPI or similar frameworks
- Experience with Temporal, queues, event-driven systems, MCP connectors, AI agents, or evaluation systems
