Product Engineer

Product Engineer at Gigs will help build Connect, the consumer-facing hosted checkout and subscription management service, and related projects, using a modern tech stack including Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. You will take ownership of features from planning through shipping and optimization, collaborate with the UI/UX team to deliver excellent user experiences, design maintainable and scalable software architectures, and participate in cross-functional work with RFC processes. The role requires advanced experience with React, TypeScript, Next.js, and a track record of 5+ years building web apps, plus familiarity with RESTful APIs, Docker, GCP, GitHub Actions, Cypress or Testing Library, and some Ruby on Rails. You will be involved in building a product from scratch with strong business impact considerations, and you should enjoy learning new technologies and balancing speed with quality while contributing to a high-collaboration, in-person culture with some remote-focused work.
