Product Engineer, Customer Platform

Job Summary
Work directly with the customer-facing team to understand pain points, translate requirements into PRDs, and own end-to-end feature delivery on the Ruby on Rails and React stack. Build and ship fixes while leveraging AI-native engineering workflows to accelerate development, and maintain documentation for seamless team handoffs. Handle P2/P3 support tickets from the embedded customer team, escalate P0/P1 issues, and collaborate with product leadership to prioritize roadmap sequencing and technical tradeoffs. Based on-site at the Brooklyn Navy Yard with remote Wednesdays, this role requires full-stack ownership from stakeholder conversations to shipped code.
Required Qualifications
- Full-stack experience with Ruby on Rails and React in production
- Genuine, demonstrated fluency with AI-assisted engineering workflows
- Comfort owning a problem from a stakeholder conversation through to shipped code
- Comfort context-switching between proactive feature work and reactive support fixes
- Clear written communication skills
- Ability to work independently while staying coordinated with teammates in a different location and function
- On-site presence at the Brooklyn Navy Yard office
- Remote availability on Wednesdays

- Experience with modern, AI-enabled workflows (agentic coding tools, AI-assisted review)
- Experience building and shipping features on a Ruby on Rails and React stack
