Job Summary
Develop and maintain the product's design system and UX patterns for a complex, workflow-driven application. Build interfaces connecting users to AI agents and diverse data sources like emails and bank feeds. Design and implement human-in-the-loop flows for reviewing, approving, and acting on AI outputs such as journal entries and reconciliations. Conduct user research and usability testing with operations stakeholders to identify pain points and iteratively refine features. This foundational role shapes how financial operations professionals experience AI at work within a small, high-caliber founding team in Berlin, Germany.
Required Qualifications
- 1–7 years of professional frontend development experience
- Strong product intuition and UX craft — you think in flows and user outcomes, not just components
- Proficiency in Tailwind CSS for UI styling
- Comfort with TypeScript and React
- Experience developing, documenting, or evolving design systems for complex applications
- A track record building workflow-driven interfaces that involve human review, exception handling, or approval steps
- Proven ability to conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- This is an on-site role based in Berlin, Germany
