Job Summary
Product Engineer specializing in drives, motors, gearmotors, and soft starters. Serve as the technical subject matter expert for automation products, evaluating and validating new technologies, developing sample applications, supporting product launches, and coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to bring world-class automation solutions to market. Drive quality improvements and cost-reduction initiatives while providing advanced technical support to internal teams and customers. Collaborate across engineering, product management, marketing, and supplier organizations. Requires 7+ years in industrial automation and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical engineering or related field (or equivalent experience); strong experience with AC/DC drives, motors, gearmotors, servos, encoders, PLCs, HMIs, and industrial protocols; familiarity with UL/CSA/CE/RoHS and CAD tools is a plus. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent industry experience
- 7+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls, system integration, product support, or product development
- Strong experience with AC/DC drives, motors, gearmotors, or motion control technologies
- Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, servos, encoders, and industrial communication protocols
- Experience evaluating, troubleshooting, testing, and applying automation products
- Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills
