Product Development, Senior Principal/Principal (Associate Director/Senior Manager)

Job Summary
Responsible for driving product development and implementation of saving products (traditional savings, Investment Linked and Universal Life) with quality deliverables and timely execution. Defines product strategies, leads design and development cycles, collaborates with channels and stakeholders (Pricing, Actuarial, Operations, Reinsurers, Agency, Partnership Distribution, Marketing, Group Office, etc.), conducts customer focus groups, trains frontline teams, and develops product literatures, launch materials, and training packages. Oversees cross-functional reviews to ensure accuracy and regulatory/com governance compliance, manages post-implementation reviews and Day 2 product enhancements, and leads ad-hoc projects. Requires senior-level experience in insurance/product development, strong project management, stakeholder collaboration, and bilingual communication in English and Chinese; distribution experience across agency and bancassurance is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- University / College graduate
- 10-15 years of experience in insurance industry, actuarial science or related background
- Solid experience in product development
- Understanding of operation workflow and system setup in product development cycle
- Experience in marketing and communication
- Distribution channel experience covering agency and bancassurance
- Good problem-solving skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese
- License if job involves regulated activities
