Product Development Senior Chemist – External Portfolio (Office-Based)

Lead development of innovative cosmetic formulations from concept through completion in a fast-paced, collaborative lab environment. Drive formulation projects, prepare and test lab batches for performance and stability, design and execute testing strategies (efficacy and claims support), analyze results, troubleshoot challenges, and make data-driven decisions. Collaborate with Marketing, Packaging, R&D, Regulatory, suppliers, and partners to bring products to market; develop demonstrations and support consumer-focused claims; ensure development activities are on time and meet standards. Qualifications include product formulation or bench chemistry experience in cosmetics, a degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science or similar, strong knowledge of cosmetic ingredients (polymers, emulsions, surfactants, colorants), ability to work independently and with teams, excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and familiarity with consumer-driven product development.
