Job Summary
Product Development Representative will collaborate with Sales to develop interest and adaptability to High Density seed varieties, participate in trials (planting, thinning, scouting, evaluating), and support PD programs across multiple production locations; travel to US farming areas (west coast focus); require strong data analysis, reporting, and bilingual communication.
Required Qualifications
- 2 or 4 year degree in related field to agriculture (crop science etc.) or 2-3+ years of experience in similar field
- Direct experience in farming or harvesting Spinach/Springmix is preferred
- Must have a clean DMV driving record
- Ability to travel to farming production areas throughout the US with emphasis on West Coast travel, including Yuma, AZ
- Strong verbal, written and communication skills
- Highly computer literate and experience with Microsoft software
- Bi-lingual in English/Spanish preferred
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with attention to detail
- Enjoys working in a team environment
