Product Development / Mechanical Design Engineer - High Speed Connectors

Senior Product Development Engineer to lead design and development of high-speed IO connectors (112Gb+ signaling) for AI/ML workloads and data-center applications. Own a specific form factor, guiding concept generation, design, and qualification; focus on signal integrity, mechanical robustness, and thermal efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system-level integration and compliance with OSFP/QSFP-DD/PCIe. Define and execute testing protocols for electrical, mechanical, and environmental performance; perform Design FMEA, Tolerance Analysis, DFM, and FEA; coordinate with internal labs and external partners for real-world validation. Manage development projects from concept through production, maintain documentation and communication across engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams, and support NPI and transition to manufacturing. Act as the primary technical interface for customer engagements, translating requirements into actionable design goals and providing support during design reviews, prototyping, and field validation. Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, Creo) and ANSYS; strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes (stamping, plating, molding, assembly); experience with EMI/EMC, signal integrity, and thermal management; excellent collaboration and communication with global teams and customers; capable of managing multiple projects and prioritizing effectively.
