Job Summary
Drive end-to-end delivery of customer-facing mobile applications for our online shopping platform, guiding a cross-functional squad of iOS and Android developers through sprint planning and resource allocation. Act as the primary delivery partner for Product Owners and eCommerce leadership, translating technical complexities into actionable business decisions while managing project budgets and mitigating release risks. Ensure robust quality gates are met by championing automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and strict performance standards within a fast-paced retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience driving software delivery, ideally managing enterprise-level, customer-facing mobile applications
- An understanding of native Mobile App ecosystems, like Xcode IDE, and modern frameworks like SwiftUI
- A solid grasp of core Agile principles (Scrum/Kanban) with experience managing backlogs and reporting project status via ADO or Jira
- The ability to make complex mobile architectures sound simple, whether you are collaborating with an iOS Lead Engineer or presenting delivery timelines to non-technical senior leadership
- A proactive approach to teamwork, showing resilience during peak seasonal retail periods and always bringing potential solutions to technical bottlenecks
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with Git, ADO pipelines, and automated mobile testing frameworks (XCTest)
- A passion for inclusive design, including familiarity with Apple's Accessibility Framework and an understanding of universal links or custom URLs
- Knowledge of Android development using Kotlin/Compose
- Knowledge of emerging AI innovations, such as on-device model execution, or practical experience using AI tools to assist in translating mobile features written in Xcode/Swift to Kotlin/Compose (or vice-versa)
