Job Summary
Lead product development by defining project goals aligned with Time, Quality, Cost, and Volume, driving innovation and making technical decisions to accelerate delivery. Create product requirement documents, manage project budgets including NRE and tooling costs, and oversee design reviews with engineering leads to ensure specifications meet consumer insights and market needs. Partner with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and industry partners in Asia to select suppliers, monitor technology trends, and align product roadmaps with Belkin's strategic objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years' experience of product development and creation
- Technological understanding of a variety of areas product development
- Knowledge of and experience working with vendors in the spaces referenced above throughput Asia including Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Vietnam, Malaysia, and other countries
- Experience of creating and managing budgets for projects with reporting and cost management
- Proven ability to learn new areas/technologies quickly with an active interest in industry directions
- Proven, excellent communication skills and the ability to forge strong relationships both internally and externally within a company
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Motivated self-starter with high attention to detail
- Previous experience working in an international organization
- Fluency in Mandarin as well as English
- Bachelor's Degree with an engineering concentration or equivalent experience
- Willingness to travel when required
- Understanding and support of ISO 9001 and 14001
- Understanding and support of Company's Affirmative Action initiatives
- Understanding and follow company rules and regulations
