Job Summary
Organize and maintain the Product Development library by receiving, labeling, photographing, and tracking incoming samples, materials, and color standards. Catalog lab dips, fabrics, and trims while ensuring consistent physical and digital filing systems. Prepare samples for team reviews, update project trackers, and conduct market and competitive research to support product launches. Assist with packaging development, wearer trials, and cross-functional coordination. Work 15–20 hours per week on-site in Boise, Idaho, with an assigned supervisor and regular check-ins. Gain hands-on exposure to the product-development process from concept through commercialization.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, Product Management, or a related field
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines
- Curious about market trends, customer behavior, and how research informs product decisions
- Interested in learning about pricing, forecasting, product performance, and the business side of product development
- A clear and thoughtful written and verbal communicator
- Comfortable collaborating with teams across Product Development, Creative, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain
- Visually minded, with an interest in branding, packaging, and how products are presented to customers
- Comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets and PowerPoint or Google Slides
- Dependable, adaptable, and able to follow projects through to completion
- Comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas, and receiving feedback
- Excited to learn and passionate about Saalt's mission
- Available during the Fall 2026 semester
Desired Qualifications
- Previous internship, coursework, or project experience related to product development, merchandising, consumer research, packaging, or project coordination
