Job Summary
Product Development Engineering Co-op focusing on front-end I/O connectors for AI/ML platforms. Responsibilities include CAD modeling (SolidWorks/Creo), design support for signal integrity, mechanical reliability, and thermal performance; testing and validation of connector designs; documentation and project-tracking; collaboration with electrical/mechanical/manufacturing teams; exposure to customer requirements and design reviews. Gain mentorship in high-speed interconnect design and contribute to AI/ML hardware platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field
- Completed at least the 2nd or 3rd year of study
- Basic understanding of electrical fundamentals and mechanical design principles
- Familiarity with CAD tools (SolidWorks, Creo, or similar) is an asset
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Exposure to high-speed signaling concepts or electronics hardware (preferred)
- Experience with hands-on lab work, prototyping, or testing (preferred)
