Job Summary
Lead design and development of new products and components from concept through production release. Create and maintain 3D models, drawings, and engineering documentation; plan and execute mechanical and materials testing to support qualification programs; collaborate with manufacturing to ensure producibility and cost-effectiveness; visit customer and partner sites to gather requirements and provide installation and technical support; identify problems and propose innovative solutions; role based in Huntington Beach, CA with travel to project sites as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science degree
- 2 to 3 years in product development, overhead transmission line work or manufacturing
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, CREO, or equivalent 3D CAD
- Willingness to travel to project sites for short durations
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
