Product Development Engineer Screen Protection & Cases

Job Summary
Hands-on role in technical development of screen protection and case products from concept through release and lifecycle updates. Collaborate with Product Management, Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, and manufacturing partners across Guangdong province and beyond. Responsibilities include translating product requirements into technical input for suppliers and stakeholders; conducting fit testing on devices including curved screens and foldables; supporting design-for-manufacturing/assembly decisions; coordinating with tooling vendors and factories during sampling with regular factory visits; ensuring technical readiness before product release; evaluating new materials, processes, and finishes; maintaining technical documentation and supporting post-launch updates. Occasional travel to South Korea and Hong Kong for supplier and partner meetings. Fluency in English and experience with manufacturing partners are required.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Hands-on experience in product development or engineering
- Experience with tooling and moulding
- Proficiency in 3D CAD tools: NX UG, Pro-E, or SolidWorks; 2D drawing with AutoCAD
- Fluency in English
