Job Summary
Product Development Engineer responsible for designing, developing, deploying and maintaining data tools to support DRAM Product Group (DPG) teams in data extraction, analysis, visualization, alerts and reporting; maintain and train users on existing tools; serve as the DPG-wide point-of-contact for Micron data systems and infrastructure; provide documentation and ad-hoc support; help assess inventory, yield, quality and product capability performance-to-plan and translate into forecasts; support data extraction for Technology & Product Group (TPG) Data Science partners; develop new tools and metrics/KPIs to enable leadership and innovation; requires strong Python, SQL, data visualization, ML techniques, and cloud experience, with a broad set of data-science and DevOps practices.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation
- Programming in Python and libraries in the Python ecosystem
- Matplotlib, Tableau, JMP or High-charts
- Data analysis and visualization
- MySQL, MSSQL, Schema design, query writing, database optimization, and ORM definitions
- Google Cloud Platform
- Pandas, NumPy and Scikit-learn
- Version control (git), unit testing and DevOps methodologies
- Data Science algorithms and machine learning techniques
