Job Summary
Product Development Engineer leading the full lifecycle from bench formulation to commercial launch for oral pouch products. Responsibilities include developing and optimizing formulations and flavor systems, evaluating ingredients for functionality and regulatory compliance, scaling up processes and transferring manufacturing to contract partners, performing sensory evaluations, and ensuring quality/regulatory compliance through GMP and dietary supplement standards. The role involves close collaboration with suppliers, contract manufacturers, quality, and operations to translate consumer feedback into formulation improvements and to drive successful commercialization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related scientific discipline
- 2+ years of hands-on formulation experience in oral pouch products or related oral delivery systems
- Experience supporting product scale-up and manufacturing transfer
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills
- Experience operating laboratory and analytical equipment independently
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
