Job Summary
Design, develop, and manage new product and process engineering from concept to commercial manufacturing while ensuring adherence to FDA regulations and Quality Management Systems. Initiate and direct design activities, review engineering drawings and specifications, and plan detailed project phases including tooling design, process capability evaluation, and failure analysis. Deploy new technologies and equipment, originate protocols and reports, and lead cross-functional teams to solve moderate-to-large program challenges. Champion manufacturing excellence by driving continuous improvement, optimizing value streams, and implementing standard work practices to achieve site quality KPIs and 5 Sigma goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or related technical field
- 5+ years of progressive engineering and/or technically focused roles and experiences
- 6-Sigma (green belt as a minimum)
- Experience with medical device and implantable products
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- training and certifications, in a variety of problem-solving and project management methodologies such as 6-Sigma (black belt preferred), 8D, RCA, 5-Why, Ishikawa (Fish Bone), Kepner-Tregoe, PMP
