Job Summary
Product Development Engineer I at LG Electronics will contribute to the development and improvement of HVAC products, providing engineering insight for new product development, screening and analyzing product performance, statistically evaluating field/testing data, identifying design weaknesses and opportunities for improvement, and coordinating with R&D and factory laboratories to support US commercialization. The role involves understanding acquisition hardware/software for lab use, and assisting in preparing service, installation, and engineering manuals for US product launches. Key skills include mechanical engineering fundamentals, CAD and GD&T interpretation, data analysis and visualization (Excel with macros, PowerPoint), knowledge of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability, and effective communication across teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
