Job Summary
Translate global culinary trends and consumer needs into inspiring product experiences by working alongside expert chefs, flavour specialists, and sensory scientists to create gold-standard concepts. Hands-on kitchen work involves developing new product experiences for sweet and savoury projects, compiling culinary trend reports, and arranging product tastings and factory trials. Liaise with suppliers, plan events, and ensure product development facilities meet safe, hygienic standards while operating using lean principles. Drive continuous improvement across the business. This role supports the global innovation strategy at Pladis, a family-owned confectionery leader managing iconic brands like McVitie's and Godiva, with a mission to bring happiness with every bite.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications for the patisserie & bakery industry
- Relevant food safety qualifications
- A valid, full UK Driving License
