Product Development Assistant, Womenswear

Product Development Assistant, Womenswear supports the development lifecycle from concept handoff through production readiness, coordinating with Design, Production and vendor partners to ensure quality, fit, and consistency. Responsibilities include managing seasonal development calendars, coordinating sample development across proto, fit, and pre-production stages, tracking cost targets and margins, serving as a liaison between Design, Technical Design, Raw Materials, Sourcing, and Production, translating design concepts into clear development requirements for vendors, communicating with overseas vendors on timelines and status, maintaining product data in PLM, participating in fittings and line reviews, supporting process improvements, and occasional travel to vendors or factories. Role is primarily based in Greenpoint, Brooklyn with a hybrid schedule, and requires proficiency in PLM and Microsoft Office, strong organizational and cross-functional collaboration skills, and a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or related field preferred.
