Job Summary
Manage factory development timelines and proactively callout challenges in partnership with the Asia Development Teams. Review material and trim development submissions, relay approvals to Global Development teams, and maintain the material palette in Flex PLM. Create seasonal binders for trims, fabrics, AOP, and lab dips, then lead the sample team in proper filing. Order raw materials for prototypes and samples, review BOMs at key stages to ensure accurate coding, and verify colorways against FDS & TDS. Implement critical paths with manufacturers to adhere to sampling, SMS, and production deadlines while reviewing weekly vendor WOOS. Collaborate with Design, Costing, and Technical Design peers to ensure developments meet technical requirements and are approved by the PO issue date.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 5+ Years experience in the Apparel Industry
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of Apparel Development lifecycle, end-to-end
- Strong ability to identify potential future risk and proactively problem solve
- Ability to multi-task under tight deadlines
- Self-starter
- Strong communication skills- verbally and written
- High attention to detail
- Excellent follow through
- Computer proficiency
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
- PLM (Product Life Management) system
