Job Summary
Design, develop, refactor, test, and maintain applications, services, APIs, and frameworks that support scalable and reliable software solutions while leveraging AI-assisted development practices to improve delivery speed and code quality. Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews to ensure high-quality outcomes, and build automation tools that enhance developer productivity and release readiness. Mentor developers through technical guidance, training, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to foster team growth and improve engineering standards. This role focuses on driving continuous improvements in engineering practices and mentoring within Epicor's global team of 5,000 professionals.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in software engineering and modern application development
- experience designing, building, and maintaining enterprise software solutions
- 2+ years' experience in cloud technologies, AI-assisted development, or related technical domains
- working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
- Strong software engineering expertise in one or more technologies such as Python, C#, Node.js, or similar modern programming languages and frameworks
- Experience with software design, automated testing, CI/CD practices, code reviews, secure coding principles, and Agile software delivery methodologies
- Ability to effectively utilize AI coding tools and coding agents for software development, code reviews, testing, documentation, and productivity improvements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience
