Job Summary
Own end-to-end product development from concept to production readiness across multiple apparel categories (activewear, basics, loungewear, swim, outerwear, sweaters, and more). Demonstrate deep knowledge of garment construction, fabric, and trims; assist with fabric and trim sourcing; manage daily communications with domestic and overseas vendors; evaluate samples and provide clear technical feedback on quality and construction; collaborate with technical and product designers to ensure brand vision is executed; maintain development WIP and create BOM; own lab dip color approval process; communicate risks, delays, and issues to leadership; work with management to identify roadblocks and keep timelines on track; monitor delivery dates and ensure timely resolution; oversee calendar from design hand-off through TOP approval and manage photo-shoot sample tracking; coordinate drop style reviews and pull inspiration materials as needed; bring strong cross-functional communication skills, problem-solving, and attention to detail; proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; PLM experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 3–6+ years of experience in product development, production, or apparel roles across multiple categories (activewear, loungewear, swim, outerwear, etc.)
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fabric, trims, and end-to-end product development (design handoff through TOP approval)
- Experience working with domestic and overseas vendors and managing daily communication and issue resolution
- Proven ability to manage WIPs, development calendars, multiple styles, and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with BOM creation, sample tracking, and lab dip approvals
- Strong ability to evaluate product samples and provide clear, actionable technical feedback
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to identify and escalate risks early
- Strong cross-functional communication skills, partnering closely with design and technical design teams
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; PLM experience preferred
- Able to work 4 days on-site in Beverly Hills, CA
- Activewear or high-growth apparel experience strongly preferred
