Job Summary
Clean, polish, and inspect drilling rigs to ensure surfaces meet quality and aesthetic standards before shipment. Collaborate with quality control to correct imperfections, then prepare components for delivery by selecting packing materials, securing items, and labeling crates accurately. Generate shipping documentation, coordinate with logistics providers, load equipment, and track outgoing shipments while managing packing materials inventory. Adhere to safety protocols when handling heavy equipment and hazardous materials, identifying opportunities to streamline detailing and shipping processes. Operate commercial motor vehicles for delivery activities, performing pre- and post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to use and comprehend specifications, work instructions, drawings, and schematics
- Knowledge of all mechanical components on the rig and their ideal operation
- Knowledge of packing and shipping standards along with safe securing methods for transportation
- Overall knowledge of product lines
- Basic understanding of troubleshooting principles
- Basic computer skills including MS Office, ERP Systems, etc.
- Hand and power tools
- Ability to read, write and comprehend English
- Self-motivated

- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
