Job Summary
Design and develop mechanical engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for forestry equipment, including hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and drive trains. Create detailed designs, perform calculations, and develop prototypes while analyzing materials based on mechanical properties and manufacturing processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration into production and conduct stress, fatigue, and vibration analyses to validate designs. Produce technical documentation, identify optimization opportunities, and occasionally participate in hands-on troubleshooting during fabrication or provide field support. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics, SolidWorks experience, and proficiency in fluid power and electronic systems.

- Software experience including 3D modeling (SolidWorks)

- Design experience in hydraulic cylinders and components
- Design experience in control valve and plumbing details
- Design experience in implementing advanced hydraulic power and electronic control systems
