Job Summary
Own product design end-to-end from definition through handoff to engineering; build the design system from scratch; design interfaces for complex financial workflows (invoice processing, bank reconciliation, period-end close management); work with engineering during implementation to ensure design fidelity; participate in client conversations to validate decisions; contribute to the product's visual direction toward a more conversational AI model; collaborate directly with founders and engineers to ship a design language for a data-dense fintech SaaS platform used by finance teams across Europe.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of product design experience
- Portfolio demonstrates visual judgment and product thinking grounded in business context
- Experience with SaaS or fintech products with high information density interfaces
- Ability to operate as the sole designer in a small team with no prior structure
- Figma proficiency
- Fluent conversational English
- Startup experience or genuine appetite for that pace
- Use of AI tools in workflow is a plus
