Job Summary

Partner with senior product design, engineering, and product management to transform rough sketches into shipped features. Leverage AI-assisted prototyping tools to rapidly turn wireframes into interactive designs. Balance tactical UX/UI fixes on the live product with contributions to the growing design system. Take projects from ambiguous problems to polished solutions with autonomy, using AI as a core part of your process. Work closely with a founding team to shape design decisions for a cybersecurity platform serving SMBs in the U.S. Defense Industrial Base. This role requires 2–4 years of product design experience, strong Figma proficiency, and a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end processes from research to shipped outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of product design experience
  • portfolio showing end-to-end process, from research and wireframes through shipped outcomes
  • Strong proficiency in Figma (FigJam, Design, Make) for wireframing, prototyping, and UI design
  • Solid UX fundamentals: information architecture, interaction design, usability heuristics, and user flows
  • Experience designing sophisticated B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, compliance, multi-tenancy, or other data-dense product
  • Hands-on experience designing UX for AI agentic workflows
  • Experience designing within and contributing to a design system
  • Ability to move independently from an ambiguous problem to a working prototype
  • A track record of partnering with engineering and product to ship real features
  • Strong communication skills
  • Comfortable defending design decisions
  • Comfort balancing quick, tactical fixes with longer, more structured design initiatives
  • Comfort using AI tools (e.g., Claude, Figma Make) as part of your design process
  • Must be able to travel to Boulder periodically

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience conducting or synthesizing user research and usability testing
  • Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Motion design or micro-interaction experience
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) or designing for regulated, compliance-heavy industries
  • Experience working in a startup environment
