Job Summary
Product Designer, Principal Associate Level to join Capital One’s Experience Design team. You will apply deep product-design expertise across interaction, visual, and service design to elevate design practice, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and create artifacts such as journey maps, blueprints, high-fidelity designs, and prototypes. You’ll champion the customer through the design process, balance business goals with user needs, and leverage data and research insights to inform opportunities while working within established design systems. The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio, 4+ years in product design, and experience partnering with product, tech, and business teams in regulated, data-heavy spaces. Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in a Product Design role
- At least 3 years of experience with design and prototyping tools, such as Figma
- At least 4 years of experience in a Product Design role
- At least 4 years of experience with design and prototyping tools, such as Figma
- At least 4 years of experience collaborating with product, tech and business partners
- At least 4 years of experience working with an established design system
- Experience working in heavily regulated, data heavy problem spaces
- The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio demonstrating their process, results, and impact
