Product Designer - Notifications

Job Summary
As a Product Designer for Notifications, you will design the user engagement experience that drives users back to the app, addressing the flow from entrance to conversion and revisit. Your tasks will involve creating information structures, grouping notifications, and personalizing user experience based on unique user needs. You will collaborate with PMs and engineers, define problems, and lead projects, engaging in strategic decision-making. Strong ownership and the ability to quickly test and innovate in undefined areas are key to thrive in this role.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years or more of experience in Mobile/Web service design
- Ability to consider the overall flow and goals of the product in addition to design
- Familiarity with defining problems based on data and quickly experimenting to find solutions
- Ability to logically express and convince others of design choices
- Capability to immerse deeply in a product in a fast-paced and uncertain environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience designing user communication channels such as push notifications, in-app messages, or CRM
- Experience leading product development from planning to experiment design
- Experience designing common experiences across multiple services in a platform service
- Experience validating incremental effects through A/B testing and applying results to design
- Interest in precise user-targeted design, including user segmentation, personalization, and targeting
