Job Summary

Partner with Product and Engineering to refine problems, explore solutions, and deliver designs that balance customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints. Own the end-to-end design process from discovery through launch, turning dense or ambiguous data into experiences that build trust and clarity. Use storytelling to bring meaning to complex business identity and risk concepts, while shaping and evolving the design system to ensure consistency, accessibility, and craft across all products. This role requires over 6 years of in-house B2B product design experience and proficiency in design tools, with an expectation of 2 days per week in our SF office. Candidates should be based within a commutable distance to support in-person collaboration.

Required Qualifications

  • Over 6+ years of in house product design experience delivering impactful solutions for B2B products
  • A strong portfolio of work demonstrating the ability to turn complex or abstract customer challenges into simple, intuitive solutions
  • Product-minded and can collaborate closely with PMs to help frame problems, scope work, and drive decisions rather than waiting for fully defined requirements
  • Able to navigate and interpret complex data and reason about how best to surface it in the user experience
  • Sound judgment about how data is represented is core to the craft
  • A systems thinker who bridges user experience and API-driven systems
  • Familiarity in developer tooling such as SDK configuration, setup flows, and technical onboarding
  • Deeply familiar with LLM-powered development tooling (Claude Code, Codex, or similar) and able to use it to build end-to-end prototypes with little to no engineering support
  • Strong communication skills, able to clearly articulate design decisions and advocate for customers' needs
  • A proactive approach to advancing work, taking initiative to move projects forward and keep teams aligned through changing priorities
  • Proficiency in design tools, including prototyping, collaborating in shared design files, and effectively leveraging and maintaining design system components
  • 2 days per week in our SF office
  • Candidates should be based within a commutable distance

Desired Qualifications

  • bonus points if you have direct experience designing for platforms that work with business or consumer data
  • Working experience in product management, front-end development, or engineering
