Job Summary

Design and develop seasonal kitchen textile collections, creating original artwork, prints, patterns, and color palettes aligned with brand direction. Identify emerging trends through market research and forecasting, then translate them into commercially successful products for major retailers. Build cohesive assortments by selecting fabrics, trims, and construction details, then develop products from concept through production-ready specs in partnership with Product Development and overseas factories. Review prototypes, provide detailed design feedback, and ensure integrity throughout development while collaborating with Sales, Merchandising, and licensing teams. Present concepts during line reviews and customer meetings, managing multiple seasonal calendars independently.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience designing kitchen textiles, home textiles, tabletops, or related consumer products
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating print, pattern, color, and product design
  • Expert knowledge of textile construction, fabrics, printing techniques, and embellishments
  • Experience developing products for major retail accounts
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and overseas production
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple seasonal calendars simultaneously
