Job Summary
Define and frame product design problems, strategy, and success criteria for intuitive, expressive music creation experiences. Explore multiple solutions, produce high-quality UX/UI flows, prototypes, and design specifications, and communicate rationale clearly. Partner with product, engineering, research, and data teams to validate decisions while ensuring quality, consistency, usability, and accessibility. Contribute to design standards, systems, and critiques, and mentor less experienced designers to raise work quality. This role works across complex product areas within a global portfolio of brands used by creators and musicians worldwide, shaping the future of music creation technology.
Required Qualifications
- Product design experience in software, creative tools, web products, music technology, or complex technical experiences
- Strong portfolio showing end-to-end design thinking and measurable impact
- Ability to manage ambiguity and simplify complex workflows
- Experience collaborating closely with engineering and product teams
- Comfort using research, data, and customer feedback to guide design choices
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence without relying on authority
