Job Summary
Define user experiences for Oscar's ICHRA tools, enabling employers to manage health plan contributions across the Lucie ecosystem. Become an expert on user journeys by performing research and usability testing to advocate for their needs and pain points. Own the design process by partnering with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to drive strategy from discovery through delivery. Design visually compelling interfaces that contribute to the Oscar design language system while ensuring compliance with applicable laws. Collaborate cross-functionally to take features from initial research to high-fidelity delivery, balancing execution speed with deep user empathy.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Product/UX Design
- 2+ concrete examples of designing and shipping complex web and mobile interfaces
- 2+ years managing stakeholders directly
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with the healthcare space
- Storytelling techniques such as animated prototypes or user flow diagrams
- Interest in design ethics, accessibility, and other topics relevant to the healthcare space
- Evidence of contribution to internal tools, system workflows, and power-user interfaces
- Proven record of navigating technical constraints to deliver design solutions
- Experience with user research and prototyping
- Ability to translate requirements, goals, and research into simple and useful UI
