Job Summary
Founding Product Designer on the Sofia EPD team responsible for shaping Gem’s design across mission-critical areas (e.g., Gem Scheduling, Enterprise Platform, Talent Compass, Talent Marketing). You’ll own end-to-end product design from user research and problem framing to flows, interaction design, and polished visuals, translating complex data into actionable, enterprise-ready interfaces. Collaborate closely with Sofia and US-based engineers and product managers, participate in sprint cycles, advocate for a strong design POV, and communicate decisions across time zones. Must have 5+ years of product design experience (7/8+ preferred), strong UX and visual design skills, and the ability to ship designs for a B2B SaaS context while maintaining alignment with cross-functional partners.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of product design experience (7/8+ years preferred)
- Experience designing complex web applications — B2B SaaS, enterprise tools, or data-dense products
- Strong UX fundamentals and capable visual design execution
- Portfolio of shipped products
- Ability to work directly and iteratively with engineering teams
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and driving toward clarity
