Job Summary
Own the design and frontend quality of core platform areas from concept to production, including the SQL console, billing, and user management; fix UI bugs directly in the codebase and ship polished UI, using prototypes and visual mockups to communicate designs; collaborate closely with product managers and engineers as an embedded contributor; leverage AI tools to accelerate workflow and improve code quality; advocate for product quality and user experience while establishing guardrails.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience designing for complex software applications (ideally in B2B SaaS or developer tools)
- Frontend engineering skills: React, TypeScript, and CSS
- Strong visual design fundamentals and UI quality
- Experience owning products end-to-end, collaborating with developers and Product Managers
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, prototyping, and design systems
- Enthusiasm for AI tools and active use in design, engineering, workflows, or related areas
